Work in progress

We’ve recently completed a commission to undertake a dilapidation survey on a Grade II Listed Building in Melton Mowbray for a private client in the early stages of property development. These initial stages of property development often require high level non-intrusive surveys to assist in project feasibility cost plans.

Further appointments this month include dilapidation surveys on domestic properties in Hemel Hempstead in consideration of a forthcoming development and providing professional assistance to others on the airside of a major regional airport.

Along side this, work has continued closer to home with appointments on project work party wall awards, additional condition surveys, and recently completed school condition surveys.

Project work also continues with the listed building conversion in Leeds where we have been asked to carry out an appraisal and possible conversion to residential accommodation.

Our defect analysis work has been steady recently as you would expect although we know that this often picks up in the inclement months.

We’d be pleased to hear from you if you are considering any building project or project work, or even for some professional advice. Don’t forget that you will need to comply not only with Planning permission and Consents, Building Regulations and consents and also with CDM Regulations. This now applies to all works from major and complex schemes to minor domestic building works.
